Arrival transfers, we are able to organise a transfer for at $70 per team (2 people). Our source of truth has informed us, there is Uber available, however this can be unreliable.

Departure transfer - If you have to jet off on day 10 to your next destination, no problem. Marissa to Colombo is an approx 3 hour drive. We can organise a transfer for you.
Please consider travel time to Colombo when booking your international departure flight.

We, RY, will get in touch with you to coordinate the necessary pre-arrival documentation.
To participate in the challenge and drive across Sri Lanka, you'll need to provide specific documents at least 20 days before the event.

These include amoung others, documents to read, passport copies, a driver’s license copy, and training material.

This will depend on the challenges and the distances of each day. For longer drives the challenges will be shorter and vice versa ensuring a good driving time. Driving at night is forbidden (sun light will be between 6am and 6pm)

Expect creative tasks testing wit, courage, and teamwork. For example wildlife photography and local culinary challenges. Challenges are NOT mandatory in case you don’t feel comfortable doing them.

There’s a full team of people ready to support you. By the end of every day they’ll check with you about the tuk-tuks performance.  The support team are on the roads with you along the way. Tuk-Tuk's can't go over 50kph, with an average speed that should be around 35kph. Be sensible, you're still driving.

Yes! Some of the items include, 1 per team:
Phone , Phrase Book, Road Map, Sri Lanka Driving Permits, Tracking System.

You'll need to block a refundable £1,500 deposit per team on your credit card. This covers most minor damages; major mishaps might cost more. After the challenge, the tuk-tuk will be inspected. Settle the balance, remaining funds will be returned. Just like a standard car hire!

No need to transform your tuk-tuk into a moving van! Our trusty luggage truck will handle the heavy lifting. Load up each morning, and we’ll reunite with your bags and valuables at the hotel.  Bring a smaller day pack for day essentials. 

Considering fuel + lunch, a conservative 15USD per person, per day (eating local), while for those who plan to splash out on lunch, no more than 25USD per day, per person

Of course! We know you want to see as much of Sri Lanka, so we have curated some optional extra activities for you to purchase.  

Safari day starts 5am-11am, this doesn't mean other teams get a head start. If you participate in the Safari, everyone will start at 11am. Fairs fair in love and tuk-tuks. 

Yes we can! You can book extra nights at the same hotel or you find your own, you are local now.
We are pertty certain there will be some remotes hanging around, an unoffical community you say!
