Remote Beginnings is Remote Year’s newest offering and is a hands on, guided process aimed to help kick-start your remote job search and support you as you make the leap into location independence. Created by Remote Year’s team of remote work & HR experts, Remote Beginnings will guide you through a step-by-step curriculum, with 1on1 touch points, that will help you better define your job search, revamp your resume, perfect your interview abilities and set attainable goals, putting you on the path to landing that remote job you’ve been dreaming about.

Is it for you?

The best way to know is to schedule a call with a Program Consultant, but our most successful candidates have the following qualifications:

You are a professional with at least 2 years of work experience under your belt.
You are in a career or have the skillset for a career that can be done primarily from a laptop.
You can commit to 7+ hours per week for this program and your job search.
You are excited to travel on a Remote Year program leaving in the next 4 -12 months.

Is Remote Year placing me in a remote role?
‍No, Remote Year does not guarantee remote job placement. Remote Beginnings will guide you through a process that has successfully helped many people secure remote jobs in the past, however there is no job guarantee included.
How much does Remote Beginnings cost?
Remote Beginnings is $1000. All Remote Beginnings participants are eligible to apply this $1,000 payment towards the down payment of an Itinerary Program.
What happens if I can’t find Remote Work before my program?
‍The Remote Beginnings team will work with you leading up to your program to help keep you on track- so be sure to flag any issues you may have with your current program! We will offer 1 free program transfer for all Remote Beginnings participants, 90 days before their program starts. (link to policies). We will continue to support you in your job search and have full confidence in your ability to find remote work.
